We recently renovated our space to comfortably utilize our floor space as best as possible. Translate: you don't have to haul your laptop over on a weekday afternoon to be met by occupied tables and blank stares as you frantically search for a seat. Additionally, you note that our counter workspace opposite the coffee bar has ample 110V and USB outlets for charging your laptops, tablets, and phones. We reserve the right to limit your use of electric power tools.

Swork was designed for the parent who loves both coffee and atmosphere. We strive to make our location friendly towards all kids and parents and love seeing little ones enjoying their miniature chairs, colorful books, and, of course, the magnet board. Oh the magic that is a magnet board.

We are firm believers in dogs being man's best friend, and cats being an acceptable alternative if there isn't a dog within reach. That's why you'll be met by a water bowl for pets upon rounding the corner to Swork, and why you'll find a glass jar full of free dog biscuits on our counter. Because why should humans get all the tasty treats? And to comply with LA County Department of Public Health code, we have an outdoor seating area for you to enjoy your coffee alongside your furry friend. Service animals of course are allowed indoors.

The baristas

Okay, okay, technically our baristas aren't full-time fixtures in our space, but they are one of the reasons people love coming into Swork. We pride ourselves on hiring good people; our baristas are always helpful, often funny (quality of humor directly proportional to time of day), and man can they make a mean espresso.
