As if our switch to La Colombe Coffee Roasters wasn’t a thorough enough turning of the leaves, our pastry case has also gone through a fall transformation! 


We are pleased to report that the coveted baked goods of FARMSHOP now grace our shelves, a long-awaited update that reflects Swork’s continued motivation for ethical sourcing and artisan excellence.

With storefronts in both Santa Monica and Marin County, FARMSHOP’s team of culinary collaborators have quickly made a name for themselves as forerunners in the California Farm-to-Table movement. Their taste, enriched by their close cohort of organic local growers and producers has made their restaurants a vibrant success, their marketplace a bounty, and every piece in their vast pastry selection an absolute showstopper.

Thanks to our new partnership, Swork’s pastry case is now fully stocked with FARMSHOP sweet and savory delights, including their award-winning Pain Au Chocolate (voted Best Chocolate Croissant in Los Angeles, 2018)— not to mention an array of outstanding vegan and gluten-free items. Another favorite among the staff has been the Spinach and Artichoke Danish: hearty with a flaky crust, gently warmed (usually alongside a frothy cappuccino). 

Truth be told, we’re having a hard time playing favorites with all the exquisite new flavors FARMSHOP brings to our table.
